Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of betty-ca.net (the "Site") and any orders you place with Betty & Co. Patisserie Inc. ("Betty & Co.", "we", "us"). By using the Site or placing an order you agree to these Terms.

1. About us

Betty & Co. Patisserie Inc. is a Canadian corporation registered in Ontario (registration number 002145900). Our registered office is 812 Queen Street West, Toronto, ON M6J 1G3.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place a paid order. If you are under 18 you may browse the Site but you may not transact.

3. Orders & pickup

• Standard pickup orders require a 2-hour lead time and are held for 24 hours after the agreed pickup window.
• Custom cake orders require a non-refundable 30% deposit and at least 14 days' notice.
• Wedding cakes require a 50% deposit and at least 8 weeks' notice.
• Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable HST.

4. Cancellations & refunds

Standard orders may be cancelled with a full refund up to 24 hours before pickup. Inside that window we will refund 50% (we will already have started baking). Custom-cake deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another date within 90 days, subject to availability. If we cannot fulfil your order through our fault, we will refund 100% of the price paid.

5. Allergens

Our kitchen handles wheat, eggs, dairy, soy, tree nuts and peanuts. While we follow strict cross-contamination procedures, we cannot guarantee that any product is allergen-free. Please tell us about any allergies before ordering, and consult a medical professional if you have severe allergies.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this Site — text, photographs, logos, recipe descriptions — is owned by Betty & Co. or used under licence. You may not reproduce, republish or use it commercially without our written permission.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to access non-public areas, to scrape content at scale, or to introduce viruses or malicious code.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, Betty & Co.'s aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with any order or your use of this Site is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
